BLAKLEY LAW PLLC
Four Decades of Experience

At BLAKLEY LAW, we are steadfastly committed to strong written and oral advocacy on behalf of our clients. Whether advocating in the courtroom or the boardroom, we provide individualized and result driven representation. Founding member, Kenneth (“Ken”) H. Blakley, has successfully litigated more than one hundred complex commercial cases as lead counsel in federal and state courts through jury verdict, judgment or settlement for over 40 years. Ken is also a registered Athlete Agent and Co-Founder/CEO of IronOak NIL Management LLC, where he represents and assists athletes in contract negotiations and management with institutions and third party NIL partners.
BLAKLEY LAW’s litigation practice focuses on representing clients in a wide-range of business disputes, including oil and gas, energy, environmental, real estate, trusts and estates, and fiduciary matters. Our decades of experience include representing both plaintiffs and defendants, multiparty litigation, class actions, and appeals through the highest state and federal courts. We assess each case in careful detail and tailor our strategy specifically for that case. Our goal is to employ a comprehensive strategy through tested legal tactics to place each client in the best position for a favorable trial verdict or settlement.
As a complement to our extensive litigation experience, BLAKLEY LAW assists clients in the negotiation and drafting of a variety of business contracts. We have seen first-hand how individuals or companies can be misled or exploited when not properly represented by counsel during their initial contract negotiations. At BLAKLEY LAW, we advocate for and support the client’s interests throughout the negotiations, with the goal of enhancing profitability and protecting the needs and livelihood of the client. Like our litigation strategy, our contract negotiations and drafting are tailored to each client and situation. There is no cookie-cutter approach to our negotiations.
Joining Ken Blakley is senior trial and appellate lawyer, Robert D. Edinger, and paralegal, Kendra E. Hanke. When advantageous to the client, BLAKLEY LAW utilizes additional lawyers and support personnel through strictly vetted lawyer-contract relationships. These relationships allow BLAKLEY LAW to hand-pick and retain knowledgeable lawyers specific to the needs of the case or contract matter and avoid on-the-job training for staff lawyers. BLAKLEY LAW also acts as co-counsel with other firms to promote strategic joint representation of clients in both cases and contract matters.

In addition to our hourly fee practice, BLAKLEY LAW offers contingency fee arrangements in those cases where the client is seeking recovery. Under such arrangement, there is no fee unless recovery and the risk of recovery is shared between the client and the firm. Likewise, in certain contract negotiations, we offer fee arrangements based on an agreed percentage of the contract benefits to be earned. We are available to discuss the structure of a contingency fee or percentage sharing arrangement if compatible with your financial needs or desires.
